Here’s everything you need to know, when to book it, and how to care for your lashes and brows like a pro.
1–2 Weeks Before: Book Your Patch Test
Before we tint, lift, or laminate anything, we need to carry out a patch test — especially if:
- It’s your first time visiting us
- You haven’t had lash or brow tinting in the last 6 months
- You’ve recently changed medication or had a baby
Simply pop into the salon on The Street in Radstock. It only takes a few minutes and ensures you’re ready for your treatment appointment.
5–7 Days Before: Get Your Brows Done
Brow shaping is best done a few days before your event. This allows time for:
- Any redness to settle
- Tint to soften into your natural colour
- Your brows to settle into their natural shape before makeup day

2–3 Days Before: Lash Lift & Tint (or Extensions)

On the Day: Keep It Simple & Glowy
With your brows tinted and lashes lifted, your makeup routine becomes much easier on the day of the event.
We recommend:
- Using a light brow gel only — no heavy filling needed
- Mascara is optional after a tint
- Avoid waterproof mascara if you have lash extensions
- Avoid heavy makeup on freshly waxed skin around the brows

Typically 6–8 weeks depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare routine.
Will my brows look too dark after tinting?
They may look slightly stronger on day one but soften naturally within 24–48 hours. We always aim for a natural tone.
What if I’ve never had a lash lift before?
No problem. We’ll explain everything during your consultation. It’s a safe and low-maintenance alternative to extensions, but you will need a patch test 48 hours before treatment.
